The highly anticipated Xiaomi 13 series was scheduled to launch in China on December 1 which means yesterday but the company has postponed the launch due to the death of former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin. Xiaomi is yet to reveal the new launching date of the smartphone series. According to the latest information, the upcoming Xiaomi 13 smartphone will be featuring an OIS-ready 54-megapixel Sony IMX800 sensor along with a 12-megapixel OmniVision ultra-wide lens and an OIS-assisted 10-megapixel Samsung S5K3K1 telephoto camera and the same is said to feature 3.2x optical zoom and OIS support. It is also reported that the company will be offering the same telephoto lens will be available on the Xiaomi 13 Pro.
On the other hand, the primary sensor on the Xiaomi 13 Pro will be an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 1-inch camera along with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel 3.2x optical zoom telephoto lens with OIS.
It is also reported that the Xiaomi 13 will be housing a 4,500mAh battery with 67W rapid charging technology and the Xiaomi 13 Pro will house a 4,820mAh battery with 120W fast charging. It is also reported that both devices will be featuring 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. The smartphone series will also feature the Surge G1 chip for a better power management.
It is also reported that the upcoming Xiaomi 13 features a 6.3-inch display along with FHD+ resolution while the Xiaomi 13 Pro offers a 6.73-inch display with 2K resolution. It is also said that the devices will be featuring a 32-megapixel front camera.
