Xiaomi is currently working on its next generation flagship smartphone series called the Xiaomi 16 series and the company is expected to launch the devices in China in the month of October this year. The company will be launching the vanilla variant and the Pro variant. However, today we got a new piece of information that says the company might launch only the vanilla variant in India.
The model numbers of the upcoming smartphone models appear online (via XiaomiTime) and it suggests that the company is planning to launch only the Vanitha variant in India. The source says that the upcoming Xiaomi 16 will be available with the model numbers including 25113PN0EC (China), 25113PN0EG (Global), and 25113PN0EI (India).
On the other hand, the upcoming Xiaomi 16 Pro will be available with model numbers including 2509FPN0BC (China) and 25098PN5AC (China). If the information is correct, then there will be no Pro variant in India.
The devices are expected to come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 mobile processor. We can also expect many new AI features along with the latest Android 16 out of the box.
