The company is also believed to launch the Ultra variant of the smartphone series by next year. The upcoming Xiaomi 17 series is confirmed to be fully compatible with the 100W PPS universal charging protocol. Both Xiaomi and non-Xiaomi chargers can be able to charge the upcoming devices in the series at high speeds.
It is also confirmed that the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Pro series will be coming with the new Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery that adopts L-shaped packaging, special-shaped stacked battery technology with 16% ultra-high silicon content, and ultra-high battery energy density. The devices will support 100W wired fast charging and can be fully charged in 40 minutes.
The upcoming Xiaomi 17 Pro series features the Leica Light Masters all-new imaging system and the first Light Hunter 950L image sensor will be integrated with LOFIC high dynamic range technology that will offer a 16.5EV ultra-high dynamic range.
It is also announced that the upcoming devices will be supporting Xiaomi HyperCharge protocol and the same is now open to the industry for free.
