According to the reliable tipster DCS, the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be introduced with a major camera upgrade. The device is reported to feature a new 50-megapixel primary camera with a significantly larger sensor, improved in-sensor zoom technology, and a seamless transition to its telephoto lens for lossless focal range.
The source has also said that the telephoto sensor will reportedly use a new 200-megapixel large-sensor periscope camera and the same will be supporting multiple focal lengths without loss in image quality. The device is also expected to feature telephoto macro shooting with good magnification.
It is also reported that the company will be launching the device with a circular camera module and the upcoming device may not include a secondary display like the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max.
The upcoming Xiaomi 17 Ultra will come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile processor and the device is expected to feature a 6.8-inch flat OLED screen that will offer a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The upcoming device is also expected to be available in black, white, and purple colour options.
