Finally, Xiaomi has officially confirmed the arrival of its latest and greatest Xiaomi 18 series. The company will be launching the 18 Pro models before the end of this month.
We can see a new launch strategy of the company as the company usually introduce the vanilla variant along with the big brothers at the same event but this time the vanilla variant will be launched at a different event similar to Apple.
Apple has already introduced the iPhone 18 Pro series and the vanilla variant is expected to be announced in the first quarter of next year.
Coming back to Xiaomi, the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro series is confirmed to come with an improved display on the back and it could be offering AI generated content like wallpapers. It will definitely offer other things like notifications and you can able to use it as a viewfinder to capture photos and videos as well. It is worth mentioning that the previous generation also had a display on the back.
The latest teaser has also confirmed that the company will be offering the smartphone series with a horizontal camera module with a Leica triple-camera setup. It will also come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series of chipset.
