Finally Xiaomi has announced a launch date of December 28th, confirming previous rumors. They are revealing the front image of the Xiaomi 12 phone for the first time today
In addition, the company has revealed a bit about the device’s camera skills along with a post on Weibo. This new camera claims to have achieved a breakthrough that allows it to take photos much faster, making snaps of fast-moving objects more stable and reliable.
This breakthrough has been achieved using a new “Xiaomi Image Brain” architecture. Although not exactly clear, it can be thought of as an AI-based component of image processing software that has the potential to do its job much faster than traditional processing methods.
Judging by the promotional posters, the feature will be standard throughout the Xiaomi 12 lineup. Xiaomi recently revealed that the range will include two models, one with a larger screen and the other with a more compact one. The larger model is expected to have a 6.81-inch display, while the smaller model has a more manageable 6.28-inch display.
Excluding Xiaomi 12 Ultra official promos, it can be assumed that “Superphone” will not be live on December 28th. In addition to these three models, a Xiaomi 12X will be released along with the above two models or sometime next year.
