Xiaomi has announced its latest Android custom skin and that is called MIUI 11, the new version of MIUI is coming with lots of new features and upgraded design as well as improved sound effects. The company has announced that the new version of its Android skin will available on various devices. New features of MIUI 11
The all new MIUI 11 comes with a new font and that is dubbed as ‘Milan Pro,’ and the new skin also features the dynamic font scaling feature and that includes dynamic sounds effects which resemble ambient sounds from nature. Pretty cool, isn’t?
MIUI 11 also ships with two new suites of office apps and that is called Mi Work and Mi Go. Speaking about the Mi Work suite, it is coming with the cross-platform file sharing, large document transfer between multiple devices, smart screen cast, and wireless printing. While the Mi Go suite offers a smart travel assistant and brings a new “extreme power saving mode”, which will allow users a standby time of up to 24 hours with only five percent battery life.
The MIUI 11 also allows the lock screen to customize to write the personality attitude on the screen. It also has a new dynamic screen that brings a kaleidoscope effect with various patterns. The skin also brings a breathing light effect which will provide a breathe-like experience on the display.
Furthermore, the new MIUI 11 also features a document viewer and a new reminder feature. It also comes with an upgraded kids mode and screen time management and that will offer information on how much time you spend on your device and for how many times you’ve unlocked. That’s not all, it will also offer earthquake warning and allows users to enable the emergency mode by pressing the power button continuously for 5 times.
Availability of MIUI 11
The latest version of Android custom skin is already available in the closed beta and the open beta testing will start from September 27. The rollout of the stable version will happen in the middle of October and you can read the compatible devices below.
The Mi 9, Mi 9 Transparent Edition, Mi 9 SE, Mi Mix 3, Mi Mix 2S, Mi 8, Mi 8 Youth Edition, Mi 8 Explorer Edition, Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition, Mi 8 SE, Mi Max 3, Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition, Redmi K20, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, and Redmi 7. Then it will hit on Mi 9 Pro 5G, Mi CC9, Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition, Mi CC9e, Mi Mix 2, Mi Note 3, Mi 6, Mi 6X, Redmi 7A, Redmi 6 Pro, Redmi Note 5, Redmi 6A, Redmi 6, and Redmi S2 in late October. The update will also available on Mi Mix, Mi 5S, Mi 5S Plus, Mi 5X, Mi 5C, Mi Note 2, Mi Play, and Mi Max 2 in early November. The update will then reach to the Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi 5 Plus, Redmi 5, Redmi 5A, Redmi 4X, and the Redmi Note 5A.
