Back in last year, the Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi unveiled its first gaming smartphone and that is called Xiaomi Black Shark. Well, now it seems that the company may soon launch the second generation of the Xiaomi Black Shark gaming smartphone as the company officially confirmed the device on social media.
Xiaomi’s Product Director Wang Teng Thomas, shared a post on Chinese social media site Weibo. The translation of the original Chinese post, he has seen the upcoming device and describes it as “full of personality, very cool” and “too fast”. Thomas goes on to describe his excitement when he launched the original Black Shark model, that suggests the company wants to keep the line active. The post quotes another post by Xiaomi founder Lei Jun asking fans for feedback and suggestions for future Black Shark models.
Having said that, last month a device codenamed ‘Black Shark Skywalker’ appeared on the popular benchmarking website Geekbench, and suggested to powered by the unreleased Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and 8 GB of RAM. We are inching closer to the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 event and we are assuming that the company may launch the device at the prestigious event.
