Xiaomi has officially launched the new Xiaomi Box 5 and Box 5 Max in the markets of China and the devices are actually the streaming devices. The company has introduced the devices with compact design along with AI features and premium audio-visual performance. The vanilla variant has a price tag of 299 yuan while the Max version is priced at 499 yuan. It will be available from May 15 in China.
Specifications of Xiaomi Box 5 Series
The latest Xiaomi Box 5 features a quad-core Cortex-A55 CPU and a Mali-G310 V2 GPU. It also comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. While the Box 5 Max is available with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
The devices come with 4K resolution along with Xiaomi’s in-house AI-SR engine. The devices also support Dolby Vision and DTS:X audio formats. The devices also support dual-band Wi-Fi 6 along with Bluetooth 5.2. The devices also feature HDMI, USB 2.0, and DC power input. The devices are running on HyperOS and they are integrated with Xiao Ai, Xiaomi’s voice assistant.
