The Chinese electronic giant Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its new style and selfie focused smartphone dubbed Xiaomi CIVI 2 in the market of China and the same will be official on September 27. The company already confirmed that the smartphone will feature an attractive back panel and yesterday, the company showcased the front panel which confirms the device will arrive with a dual camera setup and the same will feature pill shape camera cut out. Going through the live images of the upcoming Xiaomi CIVI 2, we can see that the back panel has a unique wavy pattern along with a clean-looking camera module with a triple rear camera setup along with a flash module. Coming to the front panel, the upcoming device is featuring thin bezels and the device is featuring an iPhone 14 Pro-like pill shape camera cutout which means it is placed at the centre position of the screen and this is happening for the first time in Android. The pill shaped camera cutout is nothing new on Android Smartphones but the same was placed either on the right or left side of the screen.
The newly surfaced images also confirm that the upcoming smartphone will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner for an additional layer of security.

It is believed that the upcoming Xiaomi CIVI 2 will feature a 6.56-inch OLED display along with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip along with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is also believed that the upcoming device will house a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
The upcoming smartphone will feature a dual 32-megapixel front camera setup while a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS.
