Xiaomi has officially unveiled the highly anticipated Xiaomi Civi 3 in the market of China and the device is having a combination of style and power. The device is coming with the power of the Dimensity 8200-Ultra mobile processor and a high refresh rate along with an impressive camera setup processor. The newly announced Xiaomi Civi 3 smartphone is having an eye-catching dual-tone aesthetic and the same is having the colour options including Rose Purple, Mint Green, Adventure Gold, and Coconut Ash.
The Xiaomi Civi 3 features a 6.55-inch OLED curved display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution along with a 120Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz. It is coming with a DCI-P3 Color Gamut Peak along with peak brightness of 1500nits. Xiaomi Civi 3 also features 1920Hz High-Frequency PWM Dimming for flicker-free viewing along with a Primary Color Screen with precise color representation and 12-bit panel support.
It is also coming with automatic brightness adjustment along with a Sunshine screen for better readability under sunlight and HDR10+ as well as Adaptive HDR10+. It is also protected by Gorilla Glass and a pill-shaped cutout at the centre position of the screen and the same will accommodate dual front cameras.
Under the hood, the smartphone is coming with the power of the MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra chipset along with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM while 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and upto 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device is running on Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box.
The Xiaomi Civi 3 is housing a 4500mAh lithium-ion polymer battery along with 67W fast charging technology. It also features a large 4000mm² stainless steel VC liquid cooling system.
Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports 5G, WIFI 6, and Bluetooth 5.3 with support for AAC LDAC LHDC, NFC, Beidou, GLONASS, and AGNSS. The Xiaomi Civi 3 features an optical distance sensor, an ambient light sensor under the screen for color temperature detection, a rear light sensor, a flicker sensor, an acceleration sensor, a gyroscope, an electronic compass, a Z-axis linear motor, and an infrared remote control sensor.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Xiaomi Civi 3 features a triple-camera setup on the back panel and that includes a 50MP Sony IMX800 sensor with an f1.77 aperture, and optical image stabilization (OIS) support along with 50MP lens, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with an f2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro lens. The device features a dual selfie camera setup including a 32MP shooter with an f2.0 aperture and autofocus capability and 32MP sensor with an ultra-wide angle lens with electronic image stabilization (EIS) support and an f2.4 aperture.
In terms of pricing and availability, the Xiaomi Civi 3 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage is priced at CNY 2,499 while the 12GB RAM variant with 512GB of internal storage is available for CNY 2,699 and 16GB of RAM with 1TB of internal storage is priced at CNY 2,999. The pre-orders for the Xiaomi Civi 3 have commenced in China.
