For the past few days, it has been reported that the Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi will be replacing the MIUI 15 with the MI OS and now the company has officially stopped the rumours by revealing a clear answer about the same.
It is officially confirmed that the company is replacing the MIUI after 13 years and the new operating system will be called the HyperOS. It is the custom skin of the company and the same will be based on Android 14 just like any other skins out in the market.
The upcoming HyperOS is also confirmed to be available throughout 2024 on compatible devices. It is also confirmed that the new operating system will be announced alongside the upcoming Xiaomi 14 series.
Separately, the screenshots of the upcoming operating system of the company appear online and the same offers some idea about the new OS. The images were shared on the Chinese microblogging platform. It is showing that the upcoming HyperOS will offer more customization options for the lock screen and the same will also enable you to choose from new types of templates, clocks, fonts, and widgets. It will also come with more detailed wallpaper customization options as well. The company will be offering the control center in a more streamlined manner.
