In the first Quarter of the year, many OEMs are launching there phone & especially flagships like LG G6, Galaxy S8, etc. But these are the expensive or premium phones in terms of pricing. Till now in 2017 no budget flagship is launched yet. But seems like our wait is going to end as we all know that Xiaomi will launch it’s flagship phone Mi6 in April. & Today we have something about that. Or I should say a problem for some people who are eagerly waiting for Mi6, so let’s have a look at that problem.
We all know that Mi6 will going to be powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor, but as we already know that Samsung has made the availability issues of Snapdragon 835 because of Galaxy S8 and S8+, the phone launch might get delayed to May or June. But now we have another rumour that Xiaomi will launch a base variant of Mi6 in April with 2016’s flagship processor Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 and later launch the premium variant with Snapdragon 835 processor. This might happen obviously because of availability issues of Snapdragon 835. The premium version might come in June. Another rumour is that there will be 2 base variants of Mi6 based on processors, Snapdragon 821 variant and Helio X30 variant. But the Helio X30 variant will be China exclusive by looking at the previous launches.
So seems like we will not see any phones with Snapdragon 835 before May. By the way as it’s only a rumour, so take this information with a pinch of salt. Other rumoured specs of Mi6 includes a 5.15” QUAD HD 2K Display, 4GB/6GB RAM & 64GB/128GB internal storage, 12MP dual rear camera, 4MP ultra pixel camera and android 7.0 nougat out of the box.
