It seems that the Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi will be launching its new flip folding device called the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 very soon, as the top most executive of the company hinted the arrival of the device by discussing about the device with fans on the Chinese microblogging website.
Based on the previous reports, the upcoming Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 will feature a 6.85-inch OLED inner foldable display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with a 5,100mAh battery along with 67W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The device is said to offer IPX8-rated water resistance and it will feature a large 4-inch cover screen. The device will run on HyperOS 2 and the cover screen will be optimised for the new operating system and it is also expected to be redesigned with a dedicated section for running apps seamlessly.
It is believed that the company will launch the device with a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS along with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. The device is also expected to come with features including an IR blaster, NFC, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
