Xiaomi has finally confirmed the design language and the important specifications of the highly anticipated Xiaomi Mix Flip, a flip-style foldable phone.
The device is confirmed to be announced in the market of China on July 19 along with multiple new products including the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, the Redmi K70 Ultra, the Xiaomi Watch S4 Sport, the Xiaomi Smart Band 9, and the Xiaomi Buds 5.
It is confirmed that the upcoming Xiaomi Mix Flip will be available in three colour options including black, white, and purple. The purple variant of the device is believed to feature a dua=tone finish on its lower part.
The entire upper half of the upcoming Xiaomi Mix Flip’s back panel has a cover display and the same features two cutouts for the vertical dual camera setup. The cover display of the device is divided into two parts with some software features. The portion below the camera setup will be showing notifications and the remaining area of the display will showcase the wallpaper.
It is believed to come with a microphone on the top along with an IR blaster. The device also features a SIM slot at the bottom along with a USB-C port, a microphone, and a speaker. The volume buttons and power button are available on the right side of the device.
The upcoming Xiaomi Mix Flip is confirmed to come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset along with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The device also features a 3D vapor chamber cooling unit. It will be housing a large 4,780mAh battery and the device will also come with a Summilux large aperture lens.
Based on the previous reports, the device will be coming with 12 GB / 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. The device is expected to come with 67W fast charging and it will be running on the Android 14 operating system out of the box.
