The fans of the Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi were eagerly waiting for their new folding smartphone called the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, and we already came across multiple reports about the device in the form of leaks. Today the company has officially confirmed the launching timeline and some important information about the camera department. So without making any further delay let’s check out the new information.
It is officially confirmed that the folding device will be official in the month of August this year which means the device will be announced next month and the company has also confirmed that the device is coming with the Leica optical full-range quad camera, and this will be first folding phone of the company to feature 4 cameras on the back panel.
Based on the previous reports, the upcoming Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 will be coming with a primary Sony IMX800 sensor, an ultra-wide lens, a telephoto snapper with 3.2x optical zoom, and a periscope telephoto lens with 5x zoom.
The upcoming MIX Fold 3 is also expected to feature an 8.02-inch foldable AMOLED QHD+ display along with a 120Hz refresh rate along with a 6.56-inch AMOLED FHD+ cover display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will feature an under-display camera in the internal display. The device is also expected to feature the new waterdrop hinge as well.
Under the hood, the upcoming folding phone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset along with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device will be running on Android 13 with the MIUI Fold 14.1 out of the box.
It is also expected to house a 4,800mAh battery along with 67W fast charging and 50W wireless charging, as per the 3C certification.
