The newly announced Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is having just 5.26mm thin when unfolded and 10.96m when folded and the same features a new waterdrop hinge which is said to be more durable. The primary display of the device is coming with an 8.03-inch screen size along with a 2K resolution with UTG protection while the outer display of the device is having a 6.56 inch size along with a 21:9 aspect ratio and FHD+ resolution. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Both displays of the device use E6 material and it is supporting a 120Hz refresh rate as well as Dolby Vision. It is also capable to offer a maximum peak brightness of 2600 nits. The device is also coming with dual stereo speakers as well.
The latest Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is powered by the overclocked version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor along with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The device is housing a 4,800mAh battery with 67W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It is running on Android 13 with MIUI 14 out of the box and the company says that 200 applications are optimised for the device.
Speaking about the camera department, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 features a Leica-tuned quad-camera system and two 20MP front-facing cameras. The back panel of the device is housing a 50MP Sony IMX800 primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide unit, a 10MP 3.2x telephoto shooter, and a 10MP 5x periscope lens. The camera setup of the device is also supporting OIS. The device is also supporting a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 with 12GB + 256GB variant is having a price tag of ¥8,999 while the 16GB + 512GB storage option is having a price tag of ¥9,999 and the 16GB + 1TB variant is having a price tag of ¥10,999.
