Xiaomi is set to launch the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 foldable phone along with Smart Pad 6 Max, and Redmi K60 Ultra on August 14 in the market of China. The company is continuously revealing more and more devices about the upcoming products and today the company’s CEO, Lei Jun has teased the upcoming Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 in a hands-on video.
The video is showing that the device will be thin and light in weight, it is also having a leather back panel which is adding a more premium feel. The video is also confirming that the device will feature a hover camera function which is actually a convenient method to capture time-lapse video.
It was officially confirmed that the upcoming Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 book-style folding smartphone will feature an 8.02-inch foldable AMOLED display along with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate as well as a peak brightness of 2,600 nits.
The device will be coming with long lasting battery life. It is confirmed to offer 8 hours and 20 minutes, which is 52 percent longer compared to the previous generation. The device is coming with a dual-cell battery system and Xiaomi Surge chips. The company did not reveal the battery capacity of the device but it is expected to house a 4,800mAh battery with 67W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The upcoming Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is coming with a quad-camera setup with Leica’s optimizations. It will have a 50-megapixel main camera and it is also expected to feature a periscope telephoto camera. The upcoming device is also coming with a new hinge technology as well.
