Xiaomi has officially introduced its new book style folding device called the Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 and the device is official in the market of China. The device comes with a periscope camera along with two way satellite connectivity. The device has the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor. Xiaomi has introduced the device with the rectangular rear camera module and the bottom edge is now curved. The device also comes with a fingerprint scanner on the power button of the device and the fingerprint scanner is manufactured by Godix. It also comes with the company’s Dragon Bone Engine 2.0 along with a T800H high-strength carbon fibre architecture. It is also announced that the device is IPX8-certified water resistant.
Coming to the specifications, the latest Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 features a 6.56 inch external display with quad-curved edges while the internal display has a 7.98 inch size with 2,488 x 2,224 pixels resolution. Both screens feature an OLED panel along with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3,000 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and Dolby Vision. The inner display of the device features an ultra-thin glass with an under-display camera.
Speaking about the camera department, the brand new Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 folding phone features Leica-branded quad rear cameras and that is in the combination of a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 50MP portrait telephoto unit with 2x zoom, and a 50MP periscope camera with 5x zoom.
