Xiaomi is currently working on its next generation folding device dubbed the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and the device is expected to be the slimmest foldable phone in the world. Today the device with model number 24072PX77C has passed network access certification from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
The lisiting reveals that the upcoming device will be supporting NR SA/NR NSA/TD-LTE/LTE FDD/WCDMA/CDMA 1X/GSM standard. The device will support Tiantong satellite connectivity and Enhanced Mobile Broadband technology as well. It is worth mentioning that the Enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB) is a 5G service category and the same will be offering increased bandwidth as well as decreased latency.
The eMBB technology is capable to enable new applications that require high data rates including 8K video streaming, Immersive virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR),
It is expected that the device will come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and the device will be housing a 5000mAh battery (2390mAh + 2485mAh) along with wired and wireless fast charging. The upcoming Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 is expected to come with a 50MP quad camera setup that includes a 5X periscope telephoto.
