After launching in the global markets, it was confirmed that the Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi will be launching the new Xiaomi 17 series and Xiaomi Pad 8 in India on March 11. The company has now confirmed that the Xiaomi Pad 8 on March 10 and the Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra will be launched on the previously promised date which is March 11.
Having said that, the company will be launching its Xiaomi Pad 8 in India with an 11.2-inch LCD panel with a 3.2K resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The device also features a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate and peaks at 800 nits of brightness. It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10, along with 12-bit color depth.
The Xiaomi Pad 8 also supports wet-touch input and carries TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker-free viewing, and circadian-friendly performance. The device has the power of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor along with LPDDR5X RAM and storage options including 128GB with UFS 3.1 or 256GB/512GB with faster UFS 4.1. The device runs on the latest HyperOS 3, along with features including split-screen multitasking, a workstation mode, PC-like drag-and-drop browsing, and AI tools such as AI Writing, AI Translate, and AI Art.
