The Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi has officially introduced the latest Xiaomi TV Box S 3rd Gen, and it is a compact streaming device. The company is yet to reveal the pricing and availability details of the device.
It comes with 4K UHD playback along with Dolby Vision and the device also features HDR10+. It also comes with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio. The device comes with a 6nm quad-core ARM CPU (up to 2.5GHz) and an ARM G310 V2 GPU. The device also features 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports Wi-Fi 6 (router compatibility required) and Bluetooth 5.2 for connecting accessories. The device also features HDMI 2.1, USB 2.0, and a power input. It also comes with a Bluetooth remote with voice control and the device supports 360° input using Google Assistant. The device offers access to Google TV features as well.
The device runs on Google TV, which organizes content across apps and subscriptions, it also supports personalized user profiles and you can able to set media casting via Google Cast and voice-based playback commands.
