Xiaomi has introduced a home cleaning product named Mijia M40 robot vacuum mop in the market. The device comes with a lot of specifications like 12,000Pa suction and HyperOS. The Mijia M40 has the support of a 12,000Pa suction system. It is efficient to collect the debris and things like hair will not get stuck in the brushes. The company used Xiaomi’s HyperOS Connect which is connected with the Xiaomi smart ecosystem. The robot comes with LDS panoramic laser navigation. It can scan and clean every direction. Even though there is a difference in the height of the surfaces of the room the device can manage it. The device houses 5200mAh battery which ensures more working time.
The Mijia M40 supports mechanical arms. The first arm has brushes and is used for cleaning the corners of the room. The second arm is a mechanical mop. It is very useful for edge cleaning.
Cleaning with hot water is also possible. The robot uses 70°C hot water. After work, the robot cleans itself. For this it uses hot dry air. Thus it can control bad odor. The company has included dust collection systems. The dust bag need not to clean frequently.
An app is developed to control the robot remotely. The user can give instructions like cleaning schedules and setting restricted areas through it. It also has voice commands through XiaoAI.

There are two versions of the Xiaomi Mijia M40 Sweeping and Mopping Robot. The standard water tank version comes with the price tag of 2999 yuan ($427), Meanwhile,
automatic water supply costs 3398 yuan ($484). The pre-order starts on September 28.
