Xiaomi has officially introduced the new Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo (GT) concept hypercar at the MWC 2026 event. The project is from Gran Turismo producer Kazunori Yamauchi, invites automakers to design futuristic concept cars for the popular PlayStation racing game Gran Turismo 7 and the Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi is the first technology brand to join this elite group, which includes companies like Ferrari, Porsche, and Mercedes-Benz.
The latest Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo features a futuristic, aerodynamics-focused design with a sleek teardrop-shaped cockpit and it also comes with a body shaped by air ducts and cutouts for a lightweight, dynamic look. It also comes with a light blue finish with matching accented wheels, a halo-style taillight that also functions as an air outlet, and bold styling elements including scissor doors, a shark-fin roof, T-shaped headlights, and a large rear diffuser.
It is also revealed that the vehicle achieves a drag coefficient of 0.29 and generates a downforce of -1.2. Xiaomi has also introduced innovations such as the Active Wake Control System and Accretion Rims, and the same is to optimize airflow as well as improve aerodynamic efficiency.
The hypercar is powered by Xiaomi’s 900V Silicon Carbide platform and the same supports nearly 1,900 horsepower. It also uses advanced components like carbon-ceramic brakes and center-lock wheels to handle the immense power. Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo with an impressive interior which is built around comfort and technology that features a cocoon-like Sofa Racer cabin where the dashboard, seats, and doors blend seamlessly. It also comes with a butterfly-shaped steering wheel with an integrated display, a panoramic screen, and the Xiaomi Pulse system that uses light and sound for interaction. It also connects to Xiaomi’s Human x Car x Home ecosystem, which enables adaptive and personalized experiences based on the driver’s mood and behavior.
