Xiaomi Starts New WhatsApp Based Customer Service In India

If we talk about the growth of Xiaomi in the Indian market, it is growing at a very good speed. Recently Xiaomi overtook Samsung to become number 1 smartphone brand in the country, in terms of sales. Apart from quality devices at reasonable rates and sales value, Xiaomi is also trying to develop theirs after sales service in every possible way. Last year in October, they launched e-token service in which users can reduce waiting time at the service centre. In December they launched another service through which users can track repair status of their products. Now Xiaomi has announced a new type of customer service i.e. WhatsApp based customer service in India.

Xiaomi has started a new service under which Mi fans/users can get event updates via WhatsApp. It’s a free subscription service which will provide much useful information time to time.

4. MIUI Weekly Updates.
5. Mi Fan Meet-ups.

Xiaomi is also providing the service of query chats with customer executives to solve our queries towards our product(s). But as of now, it’s in Beta stage. Xiaomi users need to text “SUPPORT” to Xiaomi’s WhatsApp number i.e. +917760944500. After texting follows the instructions that you receive from the same number.

Here’s the full guide on How to get subscribed to this WhatsApp based Mi Bunny Service:

1. First, add +917760944500 to your contact list.

2. Then text “XIAOMI” to that number.

3. Then you will receive a welcome greeting message.

4. Now text your Name and City to the number, so that you can receive updates regarding Mi events in your city.

5. That’s it! You can unsubscribe to this service by simply texting “STOP” the same number.

So these are the features and procedure to avail this service. Right now it is in Beta stage. Xiaomi said that they will add more features to this service in future.
