Whenever we talk about smartphones processor, the 1st word that comes in our mind is Qualcomm, or for some people Apple A Series. We all know Qualcomm processors are very popular & good, bur we also know that still it’s a third party processor. There are some smartphones brands who make there own processors like Samsung, Apple & Huawei. Samsung has there ‘Exynos’ processors, Apple has there ‘A’ Series processors and Huawei has ‘Kirin’ processors. Only there companies are using there own Processors, rest are using either Qualcomm or some use MediaTek. But now in the market of having own processors, there’s a new brand coming in it. And it’s none other than Xiaomi. Yes, Xiaomi will also use there own processors & today they revealed the launch date of the same. So let’s have a detailed look at this news.
Xiaomi named there upcoming processors as ‘Pinecone’. Two years back Xiaomi released Redmi 2A which had processor of Leadcore, a Chinese SoC manufacturer. Now Xiaomi has partnered up with Leadcore and together made ‘Pinecone’. As of now we don’t have any information about the internals of this processor but rumours are there that in one of the processors that’s going to launch, there will be a octa core processor with 8 cortex A53 cores. As of now we don’t have any information in which upcoming phone Xiaomi will use Pinecone processor but rumours are there that Mi5c may have either Snapdragon 625 processor or the new Pinecone processor.
