The first developer preview of the upcoming Android version i.e. Android Q will be available by next month, but we already have a recent idea about the features of the upcoming version of the world’s most favourite mobile operating system. We came across multiple reports which suggested that Google is focusing on the privacy and security in the upcoming Android Q. Well, today the builds of the latest version of Android surfaced online and that says that we will not see the back button on the upcoming version of Android.
The guys at XDA Developers have spotted the new development in Android Q and that’s all about the gesture navigation. The tech giant Google brought the gesture navigation with Android 9.0 Pie where the traditional three-button navigation setup was replaced with a two button layout. This two button layout consisted of a back button and a pill-shaped home button which allows to control the device using gestures.
Having said that, now it seems Google wants to replace this setup as well. Because the new navigation set up spotted by XDA Developers in the listed build of the upcoming Android version has only one button navigation setup and that it is only the pill-shaped home button which uses to use gestures to navigate across the device and what that means, users will not able to see the back button on the upcoming Android 10 for Android Q.
As I mentioned that the information is obtained from the leaked build of the upcoming version of Android, and that’s why we cannot say the confirmation of having this feature in the stable version of the operating system. Let’s wait for the developer preview of the upcoming Android Q, and we recommend you to stay tuned with us for the latest updates from the world of tech at your fingertips.
