The short videos are the trend and we have multiple platforms to share short videos to attract our audiences and YouTube as well as Instagram fighting really hard to give a head-to-head competition against TikTok. Now it is reported that both Instagram and YouTube is working on a new setup and that is to prevent cross sharing.
Everyone shares their short video across various platforms for example one will share his or her video from TikTok on Instagram Reels or YouTube shorts, and vice-versa. YouTube and Instagram now wants to prevent this and both is working on a new setup.
It is said that to YouTube is working on watermark setup and that will showcase the channel name along with YouTube Shorts branding on the shorts which are downloaded. YouTube has started to test the new watermark set up and the same will be available on both mobile and desktop in the coming weeks.
On the other hand, Instagram is planning to make change the permission of downloading the reels before posting. It is said that Instagram will allow users to download reels without audio.
That’s not all, it is also said that TikTok has implemented the watermark method to prevent cross-platform sharing as well.
