The world’s most favourite video hub YouTube is offering its short form of video segment in the form of YouTube Shorts and now the company is updating the setup and offering multiple new features that will enable creators to offer better content and also to interact with their audience in a better manner. New features of YouTube Shorts
It is officially announced that YouTube is offering the new features for its YouTube Shorts section. Let’s start with the new collab feature and this will enable you to collaborate with any Shorts video and create a new video in a split-screen format. This particular feature will be available under the Remix button in the YouTube app. It will enable you to select the layout of the split-screen. It is worth mentioning that there is no minimum requirement to use this particular feature which makes it is available for everyone.
Now let’s talk about the new Q&A sticker and the same will enable you to add questions and accept responses from their viewers. This is similar to the Instagram Q&A feature which is available for the stories.
YouTube is also working on multiple effects and the same are currently having a limited list of effects in its library.
Live Videos in Shorts Feed is another new implementation of the company and the same will enable you to stream mobile-first live streams from the YouTube app. You can able to offer a live video vertically and the same will be available to viewers while scrolling through Shorts.
The live segment will include all the features like Super Chats, Super Stickers, Live Chat, and more.
YouTube is also offering Convert Horizontal Videos to Shorts feature and the same will enable you to convert your horizontal videos into YouTube Shorts. You will be getting multiple features like the capability to adjust the layout along with zoom, and segments of the video. But this particular feature is still in the development stage.
YouTube is currently offering the new features on the iOS platform and it will be available on Android very soap.
