Youtube Dedicated app for Android TV, Xbox and Apple TV coming soon

Google’s YouTube TV rolled out earlier which is expanding its service. Now the YouTube dedicated app is about to arrive for Android TV, Smart TV, Xbox and Apple TV.

The YouTube team has announced that the dedicated Youtube TV app will be released to Android TV, Xbox, and Apple TV. Until now the YouTube can be only watched by Chromecast but this new app will be available to all smart TV. This dedicated app will start its journey for smart TV’s like Samsung, Sony and Apple TV in few weeks.

Amazon has already removed Chromecast devices from its marketplace and Google pulling YouTube on the Echo Show. Sony is also moving on PlayStation Vue, its own service. We can’t know the Dedicated app will pose on other these Devices. The dedicated app will look similar to the YouTube TV with some exceptions. You’ll get a guide for live shows and the background was set dark instead of the light theme. The menu will also be semi-transparent so that you can browse the menus and pick where you have previously left on other devices too.
