Under the revised policy, the world’s most favourite video hub YouTube will enable creators to join the YouTube Partner Program once they reach 500 subscribers, which is half of the current requirement. Moreover, the threshold for valid watch hours has been reduced from 4,000 to 3,000.
YouTube has also reduced the number of Shorts views required as well and now the company has been adjusted from 10 million to 3 million. Speaking about the availability of the new changes, it will be available in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Taiwan, and South Korea in the initial stage but the company will expand the same in other parts of the world very soon.
