Testing new features are nothing new for the search engine giant Google and now we got a new piece of information which is suggesting that the developers of YouTube are currently testing a new play counts feature on the way popular YouTube Music application.
It is reported that the new feature will be available on both Android and web player of the service. It is said that the feature will be showing the overall plays a song has received from all users across the platform. But the new and upcoming feature only applies to tracks listed under ‘Top songs’.
The upcoming ‘play counts’ feature of the application is expected to roll out widely to all users in the coming weeks.
