YouTube will be adding features on the channels including AI live chat summaries, Google Lens search, and QR codes. Currently, the features are limited to selected users only but we believe that YouTube will expand in the availability to the general public very soon.
The new AI live chat summaries feature of YouTube will only work with the live streamings and this particular feature will be available in English and the feature will be available for channels with “super active live chat conversations”. If your channel is eligible for this particular feature then you will be getting a special banner. The new feature will be very useful for you as the same will summarize the comments section.
Apart from that, you will be getting the Google Lens to the search bar of YouTube and the same will allow users to search for content. YouTube is also offering the Channel QR codes and the same will enable you easily and quickly share your channels with others. YouTube is also adding a New Effects button on the YouTube Shorts and the same will feature user-generated effects to make short-format videos more engaging. The new YouTube Shorts Effects feature will be available later this year.
