Well, testing is not a new thing for the Google and now the company is testing the picture-in-picture mode on the desktop version of the YouTube, which is the world’s most favourite video platform. The picture-in-picture mode is not a new thing on the YouTube, as it is already available in the mobile version of the YouTube. But now the company started to test the feature on the desktop version as well.
According to the source, if the video is playing and the user clicks anywhere on the screen then the video will shrink to a small floating window and it will be placed at the bottom right corner of the screen. And you can keep continuing your activity on the YouTube like you can subscribe the channel or you can search any other video, and the floating video will keep playing at the bottom right corner of the screen.
Moreover, the video will also show its name underneath in the floating window, and you can also see an icon in the window at the bottom right corner which will allow you to view an entire playlist and scroll through it. You will also an ‘X’ button at the top right corner of the floating window which is provided you to close the video.
Right now, there is no information about the availability of the feature. But I hope that YouTube will start rolling out the feature in near future.
