Zomato Announced Their Own Content Streaming Service In India

Over the period of 2-3 years, online video streaming services became very popular in India. These services provide a handful of awesome content which Indian audience just miss on TV and movies. In last one year, apart from Netflix and Amazon Prime, a lot of Indian streaming services are available. Recently Flipkart also jumped into this market despite being from a completely different league of e-commerce platform.

Now the leading food app and a successful start-up of India also announced their online video streaming services. And that’s none other than Zomato. But this won’t be a completely different thing for Zomato, because the content will float around food itself. Yes, this service will be food oriented service where we can see total 16 original shows and total 2000+ video content based on food. There will be different categories like comedy, fictional, reality, celebrity interview, and recipes as well.

The Zomato Originals and other shows will be available for India, whereas restaurant sneak peek and recipe videos will be available worldwide. These videos will length between 3-15 minutes. Also this service will be available in Zomato app itself under a separate video section. This service will start from 16th September i.e. Monday onwards.

So that’s all the information we have as of now. Personally I feel that this one is separate with other online streaming services, as they will give a very different type of content as compared to others. Also this one seems to be most family oriented content service as compared to all others, especially for the cooking experts in our home. This app should develop a new perspective towards cooking in youth because we are the ones who use these services most.
