ZTE Working On Foldable Smartphone

Well, 2019 is dedicated to foldable devices. We already came through various announcements of the foldable devices as well as the technology and patents of various brands. Well, today we got new information which says that the Chinese smartphone brand ZTE working on a foldable smartphone and that has a Clamshell like design.

The smartphone brand has filed a patent application for its upcoming smartphone and its a foldable smartphone, that can fold vertically. The patent of the device shows its design as well as the setup of its folding technology, the device seems to fold inwards but not in the middle and half of the flexible device looks shorter.

Interesting, there is no front camera or cut out design for the selfie camera, the device has the dual camera set up at the back and it is a compound by an LED flash. The smartphone has two physical buttons on the right-hand side and it has speakers as well as microphones along with the charging port at the bottom side.

Furthermore, LetsGoDigital who spotted the patent has also shared the 3D renders of the device and that is based on the images available with the patent application.
