Early in this year we updated, Google is testing new UI in My Apps section of Google Play Store. It was looking awesome even in the early stage of testing, and now Google seems to rolling out the new update of Google Play Store widely. As people here at Technobugg already got the update and our readers are also reporting that their Play Store is also getting new design.
With the latest update, Google has changed the UI of the My Apps section. It has now different sorting methods and different tab names, Google has replaced installed and all tabs with new tab names. Now Play Store have Updates, Installed, Beta and a new tab called Library. In the Updates tab, you will able to see all the apps which needs an update along with the size of the update and date of the update to know when was actually published.
In the installed tab will show you the complete list of applications which you have downloaded on your device, in the new Library tab you will see all your apps which you have downloaded with your email id. And the Beta is still there, with the latest update you will get many benefits too. Now it is easier to update certain apps only, as now you can just tap the update button instead like before you have to open the app page and then you have to tap the update button. With the Install button you don’t need to tap and hold to select multiple apps, now you can just scroll and install whenever you want to install an app. Moreover, now Google Play Store also offers a new refresh button to check for updates. Earlier have to leave the Play Store app and again launch the app to check for updates.
If you’re device is not showing the new UI of Google Play Store, then just clear the Play Store app data and restart your device and after that launch Google Play Store to see the new change.
