Recently Honor (Huawei’s subsidiary brand) unveiled their Honor 7X smartphone which is a mid-range phone. Though the phone comes with 18:9 aspect ratio, we can’t just call it a bezel-less phone. Now to fill those bezels with the display, Honor is planning something.
Honor has recently announced a launch event that’s going to held on 5th December 2017. As you can see from the image below, you will notice that there are two smartphone designs which are almost bezel-less. It seems like a phablet with 2.5D curved glass, so expect this smartphone to be sized at around 6 inches. The tagline used here also indicates to the bezel-less design, “Max Your View”. The ‘ #IOOI ‘ indicates two different things. 1st as it’s two ‘O’, we can clearly expect Dual Camera Setup. 2nd thing is the focus on AI, one of those ‘O’ has a droid type sign, which indicates that this phone will be AI focused. It might happen as recently Huawei announced Kirin 970 processor which focuses primarily on AI. But if they will put Kirin 970 into this upcoming phone, then it will be a flagship device for sure. As Kirin 970 is going to be used on upcoming Huawei Mate 10, Huawei’s flagship phone of this year. Maybe they will launch a new mid-range processor which focuses on AI.
