As expected the Huawei’s subsidiary Honor has officially unveiled the Honor 7X today at an event in Beijing, China.
The device has thin bezels, and it has metal body along with IP67 rating. The device sports 5.93 inch FHD+ display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by 1.7 GHz octa core Kirin 659 processor and paired with 4 GB RAM, along with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU. It has 32/64/128 GB of internal storage and can be expandable upto 256 GB via microSD card.
It has dual-camera setup, it features 16 + 2 megapixel sensors, with the popular bokeh images, and it also has an 8 megapixel front facing camera. The device has dual SIM support with 4G connectivity, and the device also has fingerprint scanner. It runs on Android Nougat v7.0 which is based on EMUI 5.1 and it can be upgradeable to Android Oreo, and the device is backed on 3,340 mAh battery.
The device will be available in Aurora Blue, Midnight Black, and Platinum Gold colour options.
Pricing and availability of the device:
- The device already available for pre-order in China.
- The 32 GB variant is priced at 1,299 yuan (approx. ₹12,850), the 64 GB variant is priced at 1,699 yuan (approx. ₹16,800), and the 128 GB variant is priced at 1,999 yuan (approx. ₹19,780).
- Sales of the device will start from October 17.
