We are seeing many Motorola smartphone launches this month & also expecting the Moto Z2 or Z2 Force to launch today as Motorola has teased a new device launch few days back. If you remember that article, we also mentioned the Moto X4 as one of the candidate to launch today. But seems like Moto X4 can’t be in the list of today’s launch. As we have some information about the launch of Moto X4.
According to Andri Yatim, a reliable Motorola leakster, the Moto X4 was scheduled to launch on 30th June, but now seems like the launch is got delayed & it will launch later, maybe 1 month or 2. That’s because there’s the shortage of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 processor, which will be used in Moto X4. As this is a new chipset launched in May, we can expect some shortage of the processor. And maybe Motorola is planning to launch this phone at large scale. So now we are confirmed that Moto Z2 or maybe Moto Z2 Force is going to launch today.
June 30 will be anticlimactic. #MotoE4+ launch and MAYBE a mention of Z2, instead of scheduled X4 launch. Thanks, Qualcomm.

So that’s all the information we have as of now. Personally speaking they did well to delay the launch as it would be a panic for consumers to buy the phone if the phone turns out to be excellent. Also seems like Motorola is getting more matured by not launching Moto X4 without enough supply to become 1st OEM to launch phone with Snapdragon 660. What do you think about this ?
