Over the past few weeks, we have seen few leaks & rumours regarding the next Samsung flagship, Galaxy Note 8. It will be the successor to last year’s Galaxy Note 7 which passed through the tragic incident & got banned. We are hearing some leaks & rumours about the launch of refurbished Galaxy Note 7. Today we have a leaked date of the launch.
According to Wall Street Journal, the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 is going to launch in South Korea, on 7th July i.e. 1st Friday of July. But don’t consider this as the final launch date as it’s not announced by Samsung. Also the estimated price of this phone is KRW 700,000 (approx. $615 , INR 39,500). The phone is going to be exactly same except battery, as we got an leaked screenshot of refurbished Galaxy Note 7 which carries a smaller 3200mAh battery instead of original Note 7’s 3500mAh battery. Also the phone will come with Android 7.0 nougat out of the box.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. As of now we don’t have any information on the availability in other countries. But personally speaking, as the Galaxy Note 8 will come in August/September there’s no need for this refurbished Galaxy Note 7 to launch, as it might affect the image of Galaxy Note 8 as well.
