Months after launching the renowned Moto G5 plus, Lenovo owned Motorola is all set to launch it’s successor. This time around they have come up with a much better optics to refine the already best in class camera of the Moto G5 plus.
According to famous leakster Evan Blass, the company has not changed anything interms of display resolution and it still remains a 1080p FHD panel but it’s a 5.5″ display now compared to the 5.2″ on the Moto G5+. The hardware front of the device too remains unchanged with this one sporting the same Snapdragon 625 CPU instead of Snapdragon 626 which was previously leaked. And the top end variant might come with a 4/64 (RAM/ROM) configuration.
However the biggest change comes in terms of camera. With the primary camera being upgraded to a dual 13megapixel sensor. That said this may be a Monochrome/RGB setup featured in the likes of Honor 8 pro, Cool 1etc. This will result in an enhanced bokeh effect and bettering the low light performance of the device. The secondary camera too gets an upgrade with an 8megapixel shooter being Incorporated replacing  the older 5megapixel one.
Alleged Specs of the Moto G5+:
- 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display
- 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU
- 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, expandable memory up to 128 GB with microSD
- Android 7.1 (Nougat) out of the box
- Single/Dual SIM
- 13MP (RGB) + 13MP (monochrome) dual rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash, 4K video recording
- 8MP front-facing camera with selfie flash
- Front Fingerprint Reader
- 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS
However the price of the device remains a question mark and it will most probably be launched on July 25 along with the Z2 and the Z2 force. So what do you think about these specs ? Do let us know in the comments below.
