We have gone through a bunch of Nokia 8 leaks throughout the late December 2016. The leaks were increased more in past few weeks. There were also many launch rumours like MWC but they didn’t launched the phone. Now seems like the wait is going to over as Nokia has started sending out press invites for a new Nokia Android Smartphone.
The new Nokia device is going to launch on 16th of August 2017 i.e. merely 20 days later. The Verge said that the device which is going to launch is none other than Nokia 8. This venue city of this event is London, and the time is 7:30 PM local time (2:30 PM ET, 11:30 PM PT). This device will be the 1st Android powered Nokia flagship, and also 1st Android powered Nokia phone with Carl Zeiss Camera. Previously rumoured specs of this device are Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage, 13MP + 13MP Dual Camera Setup, 5.3” Quad HD display and Dual SIM support.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Personally speaking Nokia should launch this smartphone in all important regions with full stocks and no 1 month gap between registration and sales of the phone. Because in coming months Snapdragon 835 won’t going to be a top most Qualcomm flagship processor.
