Over the past few weeks, the leaks of Moto G5S Plus has increased a lot. Based on previous leaks, this phone’s USP is the Dual Rear Camera Setup. Also this phone might turn out into 1st Motorola phone with Dual Camera Setup. Recently we got some leaked live images of Moto G5S Plus which showed the actual phone from front & back. Now today we have a rendered image of Moto G5S Plus along with some specs as well. So let’s have a look.
As you can see from the image below, this Moto G5S Plus is in silver colour from back & side, and white from front. On the front earpiece, sensors, front camera, LED flash and Moto branding is present. Below is the 5.5” display which is Full HD panel as suggested by previous leaks. Fingerprint sensor is placed below the display. Volume rocker and power button are present on the right side of the phone, and there’s nothing on the left. If you notice carefully, you will find a speaker grill and charging port (Micro USB or USB Type C) in the bottom. On the back you will find a secondary noise cancellation microphone, Dual Camera Setup in horizontal way, LED flash and Moto logo. The back is made up of metal, mostly aluminium.
Now coming to the leaked specs, this Moto G5S Plus will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 626 processor. Now here comes the confusion as some previous leaks suggested Snapdragon 625, and some Snapdragon 626. I personally guess that the phone will have Snapdragon 626 processor. It will have 12.9MP + 12.9MP Dual Rear Camera Setup with f1.7 & f2.0 black & white lens which suggests a monochrome lens. On the front there’s an 8MP fixed focus shooter with f2.0 lens & LED flash. There will be 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, though there are chances of another 3GB+32GB variant. The phone packs in with 3072mah battery. It runs on Android 7.1.1 nougat out of the box with Motorola’s near stock UI. On the connectivity side it will have Bluetooth 4.2 support.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. There are chances that this phone will launch at the 25th July event by Motorola. So we might get to know about actual specs, Snapdragon 625 or 626, pricing and availability of the phone on 25th July. Until then stay tuned with us for more information.
