Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has issued a new rule, which will give mobile data validity for one year. At present, the telecom operators provide 90 days of validity in the term of Special Tariff Voucher or some other combination. After that period remaining data balance lapses, this will be avoiding with this step,

The decision is to encourage non internet users to come online. As well as to boost marginal users. This decision comes after receiving requests by the regulators for longer validity.
