After rolling out the private recharge mode in West Bengal, Vodafone has launched the private recharge mode in Maharashtra and Goa.

Vodafone the second largest network of the country has announced the launch of private recharge mode in Maharashtra and Goa, with this service user can recharge their mobile number without revealing it to any shop keeper. So, now you don’t have to worry about privacy of your personal number.
To use the service of Vodafone private recharge mode, send a SMS ‘PRIVATE’ to 12604 which is a toll-free number. Then you will receive an OTP, which you have to give to the shop keeper to recharge your number. The OTP will be valid till midnight of the day and can be used for subsequent recharges.
I think this is really a great move by Vodafone, because while giving number to shop keeper there is huge chance of exposure of our number which can be misused.
