On 1st of June Motorola unveiled their new phone Moto Z2 Play that has the Moto Mods compatibility. Also recently Motorola posted that the pre-booking of Moto Z2 Play in India will start from 8th June i.e. today. So Motorola has launched the Moto Z2 Play in India. So we all know the specs of this device but let’s have a look at them once more, just for a recap.
This Moto Z2 Play is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 626 octa core processor that’s clocked at 2.2Ghz built on 14nm process, also with Adreno 506 GPU. It sports a 5.5” Full HD 1080p AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with expandable storage via MicroSd Card. This phone comes with 12MP Dual Pixel Rear Camera with f1.7 lens, laser autofocus and Dual Tone LED flash, a 5MP front camera with f2.2 lens, Dual Tone LED flash is also present.
It runs in Android 7.1.1 nougat with Motorola’s near stock UI and all Motorola features like chop to turn on the flash & Moto voice. It packs a 3000mah battery with Motorola’s turbo power charging, as I said earlier that battery is the flaw of this device as compared to it’s predecessor. This phone is water repellent with Nano coating and weights at 145 grams at just 5.9mm thin. It comes with the front mounted fingerprint sensor and all these packs in a metal unibody built.
All Moto Mods which Motorola launched last year are compatible with this one also. & Motorola did introduced few Moto Mods like JBL Soundboost 2 Mod and Gaming Mod which will be available later this year.
Now coming to the pricing & availability, this Moto Z2 Play is priced at INR 27,999/- and it will be available in retail stores as well as on Flipkart starting 15th of June. The pre-orders will start from today and continues till 14th June. It has 2 Colour options
