The Taiwan based smartphone brand Asus has officially confirmed to announce the latest Asus ROG Phone 8 series on January 8 during the upcoming CES 2024 event and the same will be launched in China second week of January in China. It is officially confirmed that the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 8 series will be coming with IP68 dust as well as water resistance. The upcoming Asus ROG Phone 8 series to feature gimbal stabilization for smoother videos. Well, that means the upcoming devices will be offering to the stable videography experience.
It is expected that the upcoming ASUS ROG Phone 8 series will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution along with a 165Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2500 nits. The revisors will come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with a massive 5,500mAh battery with 65W charging capability, as per 3C certification. The report also says that the devices will support an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a 5-magnet speaker.

The Pro variant is reported to feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera while the back panel will come with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
