The new Audio-Technica ATH-AC5TW wireless open-ear earphones are officially announced and the device will be available in Japan from March 14. The device is priced at ¥14,960 and the company offers the device with upto 34 hours of battery life.
It comes with the ear hook-style design positions speakers near the ear canal without blockage. The device features a 17×12mm driver—larger than typical in-ear drivers along with bass-enhancing algorithms and dynamic EQ.
The device supports Bluetooth 5.4 along with SBC/AAC codecs and multi-device pairing. The device features dual MEMS microphones employ beamforming to isolate speech during calls and the device is IPX4-rated. It comes with upto 34 hours of battery life with the charging case and the device also supports fast charging.
