Facebook is rumored to create a device that can do both video chat and a standalone smart speaker which competes directly with Google home and Amazon Echo.
A recent report is clearly stating that Facebook is planning to create a customer device, that is nothing but a device which can perform what Google home and Amazon Alexa performs.This device is codenamed as Aloha which is supposed to have a large screen, a wide angle camera ,microphone, and speakers. This Aloha is being tested for employees houses for months and it is ready to hit the market in May 2018 at a price tag of $499.
The Facebook device is said to give a tough lead with the competitors as it is supposed to have a big screen and improved face recognition technology. Like this Building 8 is also working on a smart speaker along with a 360-degree camera.The future of automation in Home is also defined here with smart speakers after the arrival of Google Home and Amazon Alexa.
